Judaism is one of the oldest monotheistic religions in the world and was founded about 4000 years ago in the Middle East. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are known as the Patriarchs because they are both physical and spiritual ancestors of Judaism. Their only descendant were the Jewish people. God chose Abraham as the Father of Jewish Faith because he worshiped and obeyed Him. They founded the religion known as Judaism. Since they were monotheistic, they believed in God. The number of adherents are only about 0.22% of Judaism in the World. The Star of David known as the Shield of David is a universal symbol of Judaism.
The Torah is known as the the Five books of the Hebrew Bible. To non-Jews, it is known as the Old Testament. It was given to Moses by God on Mount Sinai which included the Ten Commandments of rules for the people to obey. Moses was the greatest prophet, leader and teacher Judaism has known. God revealed the entire Torah to Moses. Moses is the one who escaped the slaves of Egypt, led them through the Sinai desert to the Red Sea. The Red Sea was the pathway to the Promised land God will give them if the people believed and obeyed Him.
